Dr. Edwin Kendrick is a private practice vascular surgeon and an assistant clinical professor at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center, general surgery training through the University of Tennessee at Memphis and Morehouse School of Medicine, MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business, and medical doctorate from the Morehouse School of Medicine.
Dr. Kendrick founded Sano Healthcare Consultants- a biomedical technology and software company focused on eliminating health disparities, wherein his team has obtained Small Business Innovation Awards from the National Institute of Aging and National Institute of Drug Abuse since 2023.
As Chair of the board of directors for SANO Health ARM (Advocacy, Research, and Mentoring), Dr. Kendrick’s organization launched a successful STEAM 2 (Steam squared) pilot program, which exposed rising 7th graders through 12th graders to diverse career paths, while fostering their interest in innovation through interdisciplinary academic activities. Dr. Kendrick is a past president of the Charles R. Drew Medical Society.
